Don't panic, gluten free foods are readily available now in all the major supermarkets.

There is a much larger variety available now and it's virtually everywhere, with Tescos 'head and shoulders' above everyone else

According to the Coeliac Society Gluten Free food and Drink Directory:-

Tesco has a massive 1600 approx. GF products, up from 850 in 2007Sainsburys has about 1000 GF products, up from 550 in 2007
Marks & Spencers have about 650 products about the same or slightly less than 2007.
Waitrose have about 850 products up from about 600  in 2007
Boots have about 150 products up from about 100 last year
Somerfields have about 600 products, the same as last year
Asda have about 850 products up from 650 in 2007

This means that it really is much easier nowadays to cope with the needs of people who are wheat and gluten intolerant.
