Ireland started the problem off by guaranteeing the depositors funds in their banks.

We are now all grateful to Germany, with Frau Merkel standing aloof from the rest of the world and in particular from the EU. Germany has not acted in concert with their partners in the Euro.

This is a second act of protectionism and it means we are free to work totally independently of anyone else in the EU.

We no longer need to pay any heed to any European-wide, which begs the question “What benefit do we get from our payments to the EU?)
