Fairness, Freedom and Fun

FAIRNESS

1.      Eliminate the present bias in Parliament, by amending representation in Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland to be the same percentage of the population as for England, also equalise constituency sizes so that each vote has equal power.

2.      To give power back to the community, supported by the police, every citizen /voter will have two ‘yellow cards’ per year to use in any situation where their peace is spoiled – vehicles parking on the pavement, noise, litter, ludicrous bureaucracy, speeding cars or just bad service; the sanction is the choice of a squadrun or the stocks or other low-cost sanction. Yellow Cards can be transferred to people who have been helpful.

3.      Stop all prosecutions arising from legislation enacted since 1997 and set aside all related case law, until individually presented to Parliament and passed fully into the law

4.      To tackle ‘red-tape’ create a ‘Europe’ Team of so-called ‘retired’ English businessmen (from small and medium-sized businesses only) to review which elements of the EU requirements fit with our culture and law and a similar ‘Quango’ team to halve the number of Quangos

5.      As this itself is an element causing inflation, cancel inflation indexed payments on all salaries or pensions or any other indexation whether state or private sector. This is will immediately simplify the administration and funding problems for private pension schemes and reduce the fiscal burden of state pensions on future generations.

6.      Implement a border levy for all foreign registered vehicles for fuel tax and road use on entry into the UK,
