The Argus recently anounced that the Shoreham Port development has been 're-invigorated' after nine months hard work. The proposals sound very similar to last time. There is no conceptual leap into the future, except to bring out itno the open the reclamation of the land into the sea. (30 hectares. (Is that the same as 1200m by 800m?))
The proposal includes one of the options from last time namely a bridge and road into Church Road, so it will the same objections as before.
Regrettably no leap into a confident future.
THANKS for the comment:
This means that they are only doing the minimum reclamation. Therefore they're not going to be able to leap for the future and get the funding for the bridge and the rapid transit monorail.
Hey ho!
