16th March 2008,I am mortified to notice that I have never commented about my wife's culinary expertise.

Two recent events:

- today 16th March Beetroot cake, Angie tried this ffor the first time today. It's lovely and though it doesn't help my diet very much will be useful in dealing with all the beetroot still at our allotment

- earlier, on last Tuesday, she made a beef and onion pie with a short pastry topping, absolutely beautiful, followed by a Quiche for the next day
