14th March 2008. The memsahib declared this as "EXCELLENT". So much so we've booked it for a family dinner.
Tonight we had:
Starters; Red Onion and Spinach pakora (the green chutney was 'to die for') and the Bhel Puri which was brilliant. Ingredients included:a sumptuous mix of puffed rice, gram flour sticks, potatoes, onions, chick peas and tomatoes. Served with tamarind and date, coriander & Chilloi & yoghurt chutneys.
Main Course: Kadhai chole (beautiful) and Murgh achari quorma served in an unusual earthenware pot for the chicken simmered in an usual combination of pickling spices, yoghurt & cream. Served with roti,raita & carrot cabbage thoran.
We also weakened and had the Mango Brouillet.
10th March 2008 Indian Summer, Hove, menu shows which dishes are Gluten Free, Vegan, Dairy Free.
So we've booked dinner there to try them.
