5th March 2009. Lunch at the Thai Silk Restaurant 94 - 95 Joan Street, Southwark, London SE1 8DA, was gluten free, as you'd expect with Thai food, and was superb. The Chicken satay followed by Beef with Green Chillies was outstanding. Good wine and a very elegant restaurant and coffee area. Definitely one to visit as often as possible. (There are also other restaurants under the same name and ownership, which I need to try.)

7th October 2008. Gluten free in the City of London - "haz restaurant" in Mincing Lane

This Turkish restaurant has an elegant simple smart modern style, obviously very popular, delightful and helpful staff and the manager knew 'gluten free'. I chose a lamb casserole. Kuzu Guvech, served with rice and a very hot chili sauce - beautiful.

And the wine was nice, I wonder if it's because they're next door to Corney and Barrow.
