Tosca's in Shoreham By Sea, Gluten free Penne Salsiccia. What a beautiful sunny day for a walk into Shoreham. OK so it was a bit cold and the pavements were a bit dodgy. Few people around little traffic and excellent service in Tosca's. Food was very good, price was right and the wine spot on. What more can you ask for! ...... more »

Updated 31 Oct 09. This is my ongoing article for restaurants I have visited in Brighton, Portslade and Hove, where they provide a Gluten Free range and where the staff and management act absolutely normally and gracefully, rather than the more usual 'Man from Outer Space' style. more »

The beauty of a gluten free diet. The really good news is that we can throw away all the foods which are bad for us chips, cakes, biscuits, bread, burger buns, hot dogs, (half of our) chocolates, sandwiches, beer, lager etc. We never have to eat them again. We (nearly) always get better meals than everyone else. more »

Cyprus is a lovely island. We've just had blue skies every day from 1st October onwards.
More than that the traditional Cypriot food includes gluten-free. Kleftiko (beef), Offelia, (pork), Dolmades: Grape-leaves stuffed with rice, onions and sometimes ground beef. more »

Honeybuns, gluten free. Beautiful snack bars, a choice of several and they're all gluten free. The one I chose was a Congo Bar.
What I particularly liked was the warning: "This cake is an indulgent treat. If you eat more calories than you burn, you will gain weight." more »

A Weekend Break in Brighton, Gluten Free. The job was cat-sitting, the solution was a 'weekend break'. We started on Friday. Actually at lunch time I tested McDonalds for a burger (gluten free) and chips (gluten free.) It's so long since I had chips and I recommend the quarter pounder. I was stunned more »

Gluten Free Pub and restaurant. The West Quay at Brighton Marina, Brighton, Sussex. JD Wetherspoon have created new menus and ALL the GLUTEN FREE items are clearly marked. The ambience is classic jdwetherspoons, it's over-looking the water, the prices are excellent and now you just select the GF dishes that you fancy. Wonderful. more »
