20th November. Greenhouse done and planted. Cabbages, calabrese and perennial Welsh red onions going well. The original allotment, Shoreham is the key area, for the frequent cropping stuff like beans, lettuce, It's all happening.... more »

The second allotment,2009, Designed for less activity - potatoes etc

4th November 2009.
Now cropping leeks, beetroot, swede, red cabbage, potatoes, Not happy with the Quinoa or the Amaranth so I've ordered four fruit trees. This plot is simple, 2 beds onions, 2 beds potatoes, 1 bed broad beans, 2 beds pole beans, 4 beds of squashes, 1 bed brassicas and half beds each of leeks, beetroot and swede. more »
