140707 OK So it's time to move onto the next phase of sowing.I've now received the next lot of seeds:
- Green Heading Calabrese
- Precoce de Louviers Spring Cabbage
- Quintal de Alsace Winter Cabbage
These I've sown in seed plug trays (and they're on the patio!)
On the allotment I've just sown, a broad band (rather than a row) of:
- our favourite mixed summer lettuces
- mixed radishes
- beetroot
- Onions Ailsa Craig
Much to Angie's annoyance I've nicked thirty of her 'spring' onions and re-planted them in the greenhouse.
Well it's Father's Day, 17th June 2007. I've effectively finished all the sowing and planting for this year.
Yes, there'll still be some small stuff like more radishes and more lettuces but now there's time for a short break, some harvesting and some cropping and then to start the thinking about the next year.
Indeed I've already received my first catalogue for autumn and winter sowing!!
